Yr1 Exc'n to Canberra Zoo

During Science and Geography lessons this year we have been investigating Living things and the environments that they live in as well as features of places. It is now with great excitement that our Year One teachers and students celebrate and consolidate our learning with an excursion to the Canberra Zoo and Aquarium.

Destination:   Canberra Zoo and Aquarium

Date:             Thursday 23rd October, 2025

07:30                Depart St Raphael’s Catholic School

Note: Toilet break at Boorowa

10.15am:         Arrive at the National Zoo and Aquarium

02.15pm:         Depart National Zoo and Aquarium

Note: Comfort break at Boorowa.

05.00pm:         Arrive St Raphael’s Catholic School.

Students are required to:

1.    Wear their sports uniform with comfortable joggers for walking

2.    Wear their school hat and sunscreen

3.    Bring a packed morning tea, snacks, afternoon tea and lunch 

4.    Bring a water bottle

Please ensure all items are clearly labelled so lost property or clothing can be promptly identified and returned.
